Always enjoy drawing a plant

This is the latest plant I got for the house. I always enjoy drawing plants. I actually did this while the Florida/Georgia football game was on the t.v. The rest of the room was watching the game while I had half of my attent on the game and the other half on the plant.

I am excited about continuing to draw doors. I really find that single subject practice works great for me. I will continue to look for interesting doors to line draw with the goal to starting working on paints of doors!

Painting on the trip

Last evening on the trip at camp.

Lunch break on kayak trip

Here is one of the beautiful islands we stopped for our lunch break. When the weather was clear we could see the mountains in the distance. It was usually foggy in until lunch time and one day it rained all day as we did our kayaking.

6 Day Kayaking trip off of Vancouver Island

Here is a map of the area that we took our kayaking trip on. Cheryl & I flew into Vancouver, took a ferry over to Vancouver Island, drove 5 hours to the very tip of the Iland and we kayaked around the ilands that are painted green in this map I drew.

I am working on my one of my chapters of my "Drawing Interiors" book. This is a book I am developing to learn about how to draw. I have found that everyone who takes the time to practice drawing techniques can learn to draw. Here is a drawing for the furniture chapter.
